This is a great surgery overall - especially in terms of the medical staff and clinical care. What has let it down for years is the quality of the Reception/back office team. Some aren't terribly helpful, others, frankly, are rude sometimes. They're VERY quick to switch on the recorded message telling you that the surgery isn't currently taking calls and VERY slow to switch it off - this can result in you being informed by the message that calls will be answered from whatever time and you realising that that time was actually an hour ago. Frustrating. Sort out that problem (which you well know has gone on for years - it's cultural) and I'd give you a glowing 5-star review for everything. Dr Maguire is exceptional.

Try to use GP services only when they are urgent . Accept that the Doctors are particularly busy and I am fitted in as quickly as they can if I feel I need to be seen.
